Here’s a retirement card for my boss who is retiring this week. I cased myself and used THIS card for inspiration. 😉 The flowers were created by inking up the base stamp in Pool Party ink, stamping off once on scrap paper and then stamping on Whisper White cardstock. The “highlight” stamp was stamped in full-strength Pool Party ink. I then stamped the highlight stamp again in VersaMark ink and embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder for added sparkle. I was struggling with the sentiment and was going to use a “congratulations” stamp, but then on a whim (and a little bit of desperation) I did one last search of the catalog and found there IS a “Happy Retirement” stamp in the Teeny Tiny Wishes set! It was the perfect size and font for my card!! It makes me so happy when a card comes together just how I want it to! 😉
Congratulations, Cathy!!! ❤
